Location[]

Wheels Roller Rink is located at 2950 W. Baseline Rd, Boulder, CO 80303 across the road from The Pine Tree Day Cay Center in East Boulder.

Run By/Managed/Owned[]

The Center is owned and operated by Carol 'Wheels' Simpson, a champion rink and cross country skater, and the son of one of Boulder's wealthiest men local land magnate Paul Simpson. who owns half of Boulder.

About[]

Wheels Roller Rink comes to the attention of Mork, Mindy and everyone at the Pine Tree Day Care Center when the Center comes under threat of closure, after Mrs Fowler informs Mork and Mindy, that the rich landlord Paul Simpson threatens to close the place to give his Roller Skating obsessed son, Wheels, the land to create a parking lot for Wheels Roller Rink.

It's not something Mr Simpson his keen to do, but the Rink is the only thing his son has ever taken seriously and he wants to ensure he's a success at something.

Mork and Mindy go to try and appeal to 'Wheels' but, he and his side kick Bozz have absolutely no interest in the welfare of the children they would be displacing, and in fact seem to take some enjoyment in the power they wheel, bullying Mork. In return, and despite Mindy's misgivings, Mork, overly confident in his ability as a superior being to take on Wheels, and in the belief that 'the good guys always win', goes to bat for the Center and the kids, and thinking Wheels is simply a roller rink skater challenges Wheels to a Rocky Mountain Road Race. From Eagles peak to Pine Street. Not realizing that Wheels is also a champion cross country skater.

Mork trains hard, but still seems up against it, not helped by Wheel's and Bozz's determination to make the odds weigh further in their favour by cheating. Which ultimately backfires on them, and despite their attempts, he manages to win, saving the Center. (Dueling Skates).
