Wendy Cutler (June 19, 1953) is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian who appeared as Laurie, the Future Bride in Season 2's Clerical Error.

Biography[]

Born Wendy Ellen Cutler in June 19, 1953 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Career[]

Wendy was a founder member of the Off The Wall Improv back in 1975[1] , which makes it natural for one of her first screen credits to have been part of the Improv Group that Richard Dreyfus's character was a part of in The Goodbye Girl (1977), her first named part coming in the TV Movie A Sensitive, Passionate Man (1977), which she also served on as production secretary, kick starting a 40+ year career in front of and behind the camera.

Wendy, as a founding member of the Off The Wall Improv troop, that Robin Williams performed with shortly after his arrival in L.A. prior to, and during the initial years of his fame, was another cast member (along with Paul Willson and Susan Eliot) to have known him before their onscreen appearances on the show. Wendy appearing with him in his HBO Off The Wall Special in 1979.

In the show itself she appeared as Laurie, the Future Bride to be, in Season 2's Clerical Error, who comes into the New York Deli to speak to Father Denny in the midst of Mork's showing off his preparations for her big day. A big day she is now having Cold Feet about, Father Denny having to talk her down.
