About The Tailor[]
Tall, dark, spectacled and completely lackadaisical about his job, the tailor in the clothes store that Mindy and Mork take Mearth to after they decide that in the wake of Mearth's 'middle age' spread reducing, is more keen to get their money then outfit Mearth in a properly fitting set of clothes.
With Mearth already in a mood, and Mork not particularly helpful, a harassed Mindy is left to deal with the Tailor who takes one look at the suit Mindy has picked out of Mearth and declares it 'a perfect fit' despite it clearly needing altering. Which Mindy points out clearly. Chalking the suit according to her wishes, the Tailor notes to the middle aged looking Mearth that Mindy is acting like his Mother. Something that Mearth has learned to roll with.
Heading off with Mearth to pin the suit for alterations. The Tailor emerges after Mindy has discovered that Mork's memory has been wiped by a disgruntled Orson, tired of her husband putting his wife and child ahead of his job. As the Tailor approaches them, while Mindy is struggling to get her miffed son, and amnesiac husband out the door, he tells her that the suit will be ready in an outrageous 2 months, and wants to know if they want to play cash or charge? Mork, no longer aware of Earth terms, is intrigued to hear that they accept charges. And promptly gives the man a light electrocution.
Alarmed, the Tailor re-evaluates the wait time to 2 days and makes a run for it, as Mindy wrestles her family out of the shop.
