Summary[]
Brutish Neanderthal Rocky insists he's going steady with Mindy, so Mork challenges him to a wrestling match for Mindy's honor. But when Mork makes himself a power shake, he discovers an Orkan allergy to strawberries makes him turn invisible.
Plot[]
At the Malt Shop across from Mount Mount High, Mindy's having a shake when Hamilton turns up to start his usual shtick of hitting on her and ragging on Mork only to see another school mate Rocky arrive and, surprisingly, make himself scarce. Bemused, Mindy is even more so when Rocky, a huge troglodyte of a Mount Mount athlete arrives at her table, smirking that obviously Hamilton got the word. When Mindy asks what word that is, he tells her that it's about Mindy and him going steady. Mindy immediately tells him they are not going steady, and he's not going to force her to go out with him.
While that may be true, Rocky tells her that she better not go out with anyone else, because if he sees her with another guy it's going to be too bad for him. Groaning and head in her hands at her predicament, Mindy doesn't see Mork arrive as Rocky walks off, lifting her head at the sound of Mork finishing off her malted with his finger. Immediately freaking out, Mindy tells him he better get out of there before Rocky seems him, telling him Rocky insists that they are going steady and won't let another guy near her. Mork thinks he must be kidding, until they both hear Rocky and Mork is snatched away by his collar. Holding him off the ground, Rocky asks Mork if he thinks this is a laugh?
Mork tries to be pleasant, but Rocky warns him if he gets between him and Mindy he'll be squashed. Mork offers a counter idea, suggesting he and Rocky have a wrestling match, and the winner gets Mindy. Rocky finds the notion hilarious and agrees readily, the winner, he says, will date Mindy, FOREVER, before he promptly tosses Mork away without effort. Just as Mindy starts to object to Rocky and the idea, Mork zips back and extends his hand to Rocky to finalize the agreement, only for Rocky to almost crush Mork's hands. Worriedly asking if he's alright as he falls back against her, Rocky warns him that if he doesn't show up, Mork forfeits and he and Mindy are going steady for good. Alarmed, Mindy informs Mork incase he didn't know it, that Rocky is the Captain of the Wrestling team. Mork corrects her, saying Wrassle, pulling something out of his pocket stipulating 'Wrassle Marche' as he opens his hand, revealing jacks and a ball. A game he was a champ at on Ork, demonstrating his ability to pick up the jacks between ball bounces. Moaning, Mindy tells him they are jacks and he challenged Rocky to a 'Wrestling Match' and the way they play that on Earth is that Rocky gets to tie his whole body in knots and jumps on him. Bemused, Mork notes to his Little Mama that that is cheating.
Back at the McConnell House, Mork is in midst of blending something up in a mess of a kitchen when Mindy walks in, the blender rocking so badly that Doing clings to her in fear. Exasperated, Mindy wants to know whether he's brewing up an Earthquake or a Tornado. It is in fact a 'Flabberzit' Mork tells her, a concoction to give him extra energy for the Wrestle Match that afternoon. He tells her it contains, Verlip, Disorgin, Chistrom, and Hasplit, the latter of which he has had to substitute strawberries for, not having any of it. As Mork drinks his concoction with his finger, turning to the dishes Mindy tells him they better clean up the mess before her Dad sees it. Behind her however, Mork starts to have an unusual reaction, flickering and then completely disappearing sending Doing running. Mindy turns around asking if he heard her, only to find him gone. Looking around for him she's startled when he reappears exactly where he was, leaning against the counter. Finding it hard to believe her eyes, startled she tells him he was invisible. Mork realizes he's had an allergic reaction to the strawberries, and as he's talking parts of him keep disappearing and reappearing, Mindy ending up staring at his head, and only his head, which sends the returning Doing running again. Wanting to know what they're going to do, Mork tells her not to worry, it'll wear off. When, she wants to know, but he can't answer her. Mindy realizes to her horror that if Mork literally doesn't show up at the match, she'll be stuck with Rocky for life. Feeling around she finds and grabs his hand and drags him away, intent on taking him to a doctor.
At the office of Dr. Proctor, Mindy has Mork covered in a sheet beside her in the waiting room, nervously reacting to the nurse telling them the Doctor will see them now. Inside Dr. Proctor wonders which of them is the patient. Mindy making it clear when she pulls off Mork's sheet. Dr. Proctor is surprisingly un-shocked, wondering how long Mork has been that way. An hour at this point Mindy tells him as Mork's arm comes visible again, allowing him to take Mork's pulse. When his head re-appears, Mork tells the Doctor it was an allergy to the strawberries. Excusing himself Proctor leaves Mork & Mindy in the surgery and goes out to his nurse, who he tells to call the Police and then the Department of Defense, the CIA and the FBI, and inform them he has the perfect spy, and invisible man. And make sure, he tells her, that they bring lots of strawberries. Outside however, Mindy, to Mork's puzzlement, leads him out of the building explaining that she thinks Proctor is stalling and up to something. AS they get in Mork's Grimbel Pizatti and drive off, a multitude of squad cars arrive. Proctor tells them they've just left, and when the cops asks what Mork looks like he tells them they can't miss him. He's invisible.
Mork and Mindy pull up outside the gym in time for the wrestling match, with Rocky already stripped and ready in the ring. Hamilton is in his corner and speaking trash about Mork in his ear, calling him chicken and saying he won't show up. Rocky smirks and tells Hamilton if he doesn't, it's him and Mindy from now on. Something he fully intends to enjoy. Their smiles are wiped off their faces a moment later when Mork greets them. Getting up to meet him and the ref in the middle of the ring, he accuses Mork of being late, Mork smiling tells him he should've started without him, he would have caught up. The Ref shuts them up saying they both know the rules, Mork pointing out that he doesn't actually. 2 falls out of 3 the Ref says and sends them to the corner to wait for the bell, Mork walking to Rocky's corner with him and sitting on his knee. Rocky sends him back to his own corner where Mindy, worried about him tells him to be careful. He tells her not to fret, he'll beat him with footwork and his moves. Mid demonstrating said moves the bell goes and to Mindy's horror Mork is grabbed from behind by Rocky who lifts him effortlessly and spins him around, flips him and pins him easily for the first fall.
Running out into the ring, Mindy drags Mork back to his corner and helps him up. Worried for him, she tells him its not worth it. But even groggy Mork is determined, telling her he won't let have Rocky have her for life, not in a million bleams. Despite collapsing, when the 'bell' goes for the second round, Mork is up and out into the center of the ring balletically. As Rocky charges for him however, Mork flickers and vanishes, his allergy kicking in, leaving Rocky grasping at air and flat on his face. Mindy calls frantically to Mork to pin him, but he misunderstands, thinking of the dating process and pointing out they haven't even had dinner. When Mindy clarifies she means to the mat, Mork pulls out a safety pin and attaches Rocky's shorts to the canvas. Exasperated she calls that he means Rocky's shoulders, Mork finally getting the idea and properly pinning him, the ref counting it out. Leaving them at one fall each.
As he comes back to the corner, Mindy tells him he was wonderful, Mork preening at her praise, demurs saying it was nothing that couldn't be done by someone with great imagination, quick wit and an allergy to strawberries couldn't have done. In the far corner, as Hamilton flags him with a towel, Rocky is wondering what happened, Hamilton telling him that Mork pulled one of his 'spacey' tricks on him. Infuriated, Rocky says it's no more Mr. Nice Guy and heads out to meet Mork in the center of the ring, right as the cops arrive. The police officers deciding they'll pick him up after the match is over. Adding, as they watch Rocky use Mork's suspenders to tie him in knots, if there's anything left of him. But as Rocky comes in for the final slam, Mork disappears again. As Rocky and the Ref look around bemused, Mork's shoes approach Rocky from behind, and pull down his shorts to reveal his tighty whities printed with butterflies, cracking everybody up. Embarrassed and infuriated Rocky tells him he's finished. Backing up, Rocky uses the ropes to slingshot himself towards Mork, only for Mork to disappear again, Rocky flying out of the ring and flattening the two cops. Dragging himself up, Rocky quits, declaring Mork is too quick for him and makes a run for it, the audience barracking him as he goes.
Mork reappears beside the confused Ref who declares him the winner, to Hamilton's anger. The blond calling Mork a fake and a cheat, and telling the Ref that he won with his space tricks and is an alien. Coming forward, Mindy tells Hamilton that he's the alien, and bluffs that Mork is a magician, and that he just made everyone think that he disappeared, getting Mork to agree with his Little Mama. The police are less than impressed at hearing this, and head out saying it's Dr. Proctor that should be arrested. As Mork and Mindy are carried out on the crowds shoulders, Mork continues to flicker in and out of vision, freaking Doing out again, Mindy telling Mork that his allergy can't wear out fast enough for her or Doing. Mork asking her to remind him never to eat another strawberry.
