Tammy Lauren (November 16, 1968) is an American child and adult actress who appeared as Holly, Eugene's 'girlfriend' who Mork sets out to marry, thinking they need to be liberated from their oppressive parents, in Season 1's Young Love.
Biography[]
Tammy Lauren was born Tammy Lauren Vasquez on November 16, 1968 in San Diego, California, USA, to Suzanne Bledsoe, a talent manager. Her stepfather was director Charles Jarrott. She has a younger brother Jonathan Vasquez who has worked as a talent agent and as a clown for Ringling Bros.
She has been married to Guri Weinberg (31 January 1997 - present) the son of Moshe Weinberg, the Olympic coach killed at the Munich Olympic Games massacre in 1972. And has a black belt in shotokan karate. [1] [2]
Career[]
As a child actress, Lauren's acting debut was in the role of Melissa Turner on the one-season television series Who's Watching the Kids, in which she co-starred with Scott Baio. At the same time she made appearances in Fantasy Island, and one of the other sitcoms in which the character of Mork appeared, Out of the Blue.
A long career of appearances in TV series followed, including The Facts of Life, Family Ties and Little House on the Prairie while she had extended stints on Homefront, and The Young & The Restless

She made her movie debut alongside Elliott Gould and a young Rick Schroder in Disney's The Last Flight of Noah's Ark, and among horror fans is best known for her role in the 1997 horror film Wishmaster, portraying Alexandra Amberson, a young woman who accidentally awakens a Djinn.

Mork & Mindy[]
Tammy appeared as Holly, a reluctant music student studying with Cora at the Music Store, who resents her mother making he take piano lessons. A very pretty girl, she immediately attracts the attention of an equally huffy Eugene, who is tired of his mother telling him what to do, and wishes he was married and away from his parents like his older cousin. The two develop a crush on each other, and Mork, believing they are being oppressed by their parents strikes upon the idea of marrying them.
