St. Peter's Church is the local Catholic Church served by Father Denny, within walking distance of the Pearl Street Mall. A typical Catholic Church it is, by Mork's own admittance beautiful, with stained class windows, high vaulted ceilings (with a great echo), pews, sacred icons, an organ, a confessional, and candle votive light stands.
It is the site of a wedding whose reception is to be held in the NY Deli, catered by Remo, which is where Mork meets Father Denny.
Taken by how much respect Father Denny is afforded by Mindy, Remo and his parishioners Mork, feeling low after losing yet another job, decides to regain the respect of Mindy especially by following in Father Denny's footsteps, and becoming a Priest. Even though he has no idea what that entails.
Not taking heed of Mindy's warnings, Mork dons a cassock and goes to visit St. Peters, where he ends up ministering to local parishioners who believe him to be a priest. Including a suicidal man who Mork ends up assisting, by giving him ideas on how to kill himself.
Fortunately for all involved it is the one thing the suicidal man is not prepared for and comes back the next day to try and find Mork to thank him, to the shock of Father Denny and Mindy who were full sure, having discovered what he'd done, that he'd truly crossed a line. Despite his unintentional success however, Father Denny warns Mork if he ever tries that again, he'll kick him to Kingdom Come himself.
