About Rick[]
Rick is a mechanic who works is 'Al's Touring' near the Pearl Street Mall and is well aware of the stores and the people who work there, able to identify Mindy, and where she works, when she enters The Eatery for lunch, and George asks about her.
Rick starts out in his friend George's corner, enabling his first attempts to hit on Mindy by turning on the music to allow George to dance with her, despite her refusal. However, as George's behavior escalates, he starts to shift his attitude. When Mork returns to The Eatery after George continues to harass him, Mindy and the McConnell's, and stands up George, Rick starts to take stock. When George attempts to goad Mork into fighting with him, Rick starts to tell his friend to lay off, that it's clear Mork isn't going to fight him, and starts to show admiration in how Mork is handling things. By the time George tries to manhandle Mindy again, Rick is firmly in their corner, and laughs along with the others as Mork uses his time warp ability to speed past George's challenge, George ending up on his ass looking foolish. Though he still ends up helping his friend up and cleaning him off after George issues an apology to Mindy at Mork's behest.
