Randy Brooks (January 30, 1950) is an American television and film actor who appeared in Season 4's Metamorphosis, the TV Show. as Stan Jackson, the Sportscaster at KTNS where Mindy works.

Frederick Randolph Brooks was born January 30, 1950 in New York City, New York, USA
He was previously married to Karyn Parsons best known for her role as Hilary Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (m. 1987; div. 1990). Following his divorce, he was eventually awarded custody of their two children in 1991.
Family still lives in Columbia, South Carolina.
Career[]
Brooks got his first screen credit in (1970) in the TV Soap, All My Children and the movie Halls of Anger. He had a central role in the mini series Brothers and Sisters in 1979, and followed up his role as Eagle in the TV Movie The Renegades (with Patrick Swayze) with the same role in the short run follow up series in 1983, and Emerald Point N.A.S. in 1983. Brooks has made many guest appearances on many television shows, including One Day at a Time, The Fall Guy, In the Heat of the Night, The White Shadow, Hill Street Blues, Hunter, 21 Jump Street, Murder, She Wrote, Family Law, and Judging Amy, and had a recurring role as White House reporter Arthur Leeds on The West Wing.
Brooks is also well known in the soap opera community; he starred on Generations in 1990 as Eric Royal, on The Young and the Restless as Nathan Hastings from 1992–95, on Another World as Marshall Lincoln Kramer from 1994–95, and on All My Children as Hayes Grady in 1996.
Moviewise he is probably best known for his role as L.A.P.D. Detective Holdaway in the 1992 hit cult film Reservoir Dogs. Brooks also starred in the 1988 hit drama film Colors.

Randy appeared in Metamorphosis, the TV Show as a colleague of Mindy's at KTNS, Stan Jackson the handsome, and super confident sportscaster on the station. Who when a change of management threatens to shake everything up with possible job cuts, though sure of his own abilities is not above playing the minority card and generally sucking up to and bribing the new Station Manager to ensure he keeps his job.
