Nurse Tula, is a kind and friendly psychiatric nurse who works in Happy Valley Sanitorium, in Boulder. She appears in Season 3's Mork in Never Never Land.

About Nurse Tula[]

Nurse Tula is a warm and welcoming woman, kind and gentle with the patients of the Happy Valley Hospital she works with, including Peter 'Pan' Panofski, and Sid. On Mork's arrival to visit Peter for the first time, she gives him a brief tour of the facility, amused at his upbeat reaction to things like the rubber rooms and mesh on the windows, as she brings him to the Recreation Room to meet with Peter.

It is Tula who explains to Mork why Peter can't leave the sanitorium to go home with him to meet Mindy, telling him it's about their safety, and showing her experience in dealing with those whose thinking may be somewhat off center, indulgently telling Mork 'This too is true' when he suggests keeping the patients in at night is also about 'protecting their wings'.

When Peter disappears with Mork, after the latter breaks him out, it is Tula who figures out where he's gone, finding Mork's letters to Peter. Arriving at Mindy's Apartment with an orderly to bring him back, she tries to stop him from running by gently telling him how much he is missed back at Happy Valley, especially by Sid. Hearing that is what encourages Peter to go back willingly with her, to help those there feel happier and better about themselves. But not before he gives another go to getting Mindy to 'crow' and make her feel better about herself, Nurse Tula watching on smiling as Mindy finally breaks through her reluctance and does so, going to Peter to tell him she believes in him.
