Apart from his permanent and true job, that as Ork's Observer of Earth, and the one he finally locks down at the Pine Tree Day Care Center at the end of Season 2 through all of Season 3, Mork has over the duration of his stay on Earth multiple jobs, both to help him blend in to human society, and to help Mindy in supporting him. Unfortunately for Mork, for the greater part of his stay those jobs have often ended rapidly through misunderstanding or misfortune:

These jobs include:

  • Mork Runs Away
    • His very first job is Babysitting Eugene for which his parents give him 6 dollars, something that he mentions that he does again in Mork The Gullible, though it sounds pretty much like Eugene ended up watching him when Mork fell asleep.
  • Mork Runs Down
    • Mork returns from his new job as a Dog Walker, which as he retells his day to them is now clearly his ex-job as, after being told to take the dogs out for a walk, and figuring they could manage that on their own just let them all out, telling them to be back by midnight, and promptly losing the job.
    • Mork also tries out for a Stock Boy job at The Vitamin Vendor, a health store owned by Mindy's hippy friend Rainbow (Joyce as was). Unfortunately, Mork is right at the point of his first 'Birthday' which for him means he must recharge using the Gleek Orson sent him, or run out of energy (exhibited by weird behavior) before he gets the Gorgles and dies.
  • Dr. Morkenstein
    • Mork takes a job as a Night Watchman / Security Guard at the Boulder Science Museum exhibit where he encounters and upgrades Chuck the Robot to the point that Chuck, develops sentience and emotions. It is not clear whether he ends the job when the exhibit Chuck is in closes, or because he leaves himself after Chuck's 'death'.
  • Mork vs. Mindy
    • Mork takes a job working in a Joke Shop, but can't quite get the hang of Earthling humor selling a deaf man a whoopie cushion which gets him fired.
    • Mork takes on a job with Mindy working for Nelson's Campaign, ending up competing with her when Nelson puts them head to head, until both of them are let go by him.
  • Hold That Mork
    • Mork works at a Pet Shop, but loses the job after deciding to allow the animals to mingle. with disastrous results.
    • He then successfully auditions for and lands a job as a Denver Bronco's Cheerleader, but loses his nerve at the end and quits.
  • Clerical Error
    • Mork gets and loses a job at a Daycare all in one day. Getting 'attacked' by 32 'homicidal midgets masquerading as children' who bit him in places he couldn't even reach. Covered him in green paint to play 'realistic' leap frog, and making him abandon a pair of his suspenders, wrapped around a boy, in order to get away.
    • He also briefly lands a job in the New York Deli thanks to Father Denny intervening with Remo.
