Michelle Downey was an American child and teen actress who appeared as Susie, the young girl Mindy ends up sharing a hospital room with when accommodation is overcrowded, and who terrifies Mork when she reveals to him how basic Earth medicine is, and what's about to happen to Mindy, in Season 2's Mork's Health Hints.

Michelle started her screen career in a one off role in Little House on the Prairie, impressing to the point that she was brought back in the recurring role of Sue Goodspeed.

Mork & Mindy[]

Michelle Downey appeared as 11 year old Susie, in hospital after swallowing her bubble pipe in a freak accident, and sharing a room with Mindy in the children's ward, after there's no room left in the adult wards for Mindy who is having her tonsils out. Telling Mindy how bad the nursing attendance is in the hospital, she's introduced by Mindy to Mork who presents her with a cauliflower (the biggest flower he could find), amusing Susie. When Mindy is taken away for blood tests. Susie chills Mork to the bone telling him how she's going to be cut open (after being knocked out) to get at the bubble pipe inside her. Something that's going to happen to Mindy, spiraling the Orkan into super protective mode.
