Marvin the Evil is is King Exidon's financial advisor (and boot black) and Mr. Bickley's counterpart on the planet Mirth in Mork in Wonderland, Part 2. He is played by Tom Poston.
Character summary[]
Marvin the Evil is suitably for the King's financial advisor a greedy grasping individual who wears a wizard style hat marked with dollar signs. His two intents are keeping Exidon happy enough so that he can stay alive, and make money while he's at it.
Exidon's paranoia is so extreme that he doesn't even let Marvin in on his plan to root out the spies he is (correctly) sure are in his castle, deliberately allowing Mork to take up a spot as the Court Serious without question. He also ignores Marvin's warnings about speaking about their money making scam in controlling the power to the people, making it sound like simple outages.
After Exidon capture's Mandy and plans to publicly execute her however, Marvin has had too much and is planning to escape just as Mork arrives with the others to break Mandy free, and the widespread uprising against Exidon begins with news of what he's been up too. Deciding against running Marvin renames himself Marvind the Swell and joins in the rebellion.
Personality[]
Marvin is grasping and self serving, but not as Evil as his name suggests. Murder Mandy in cold blood is too much for him, and he relents his role, unable to take part in it. Though he does not attempt to help her until he runs into Mork and the rescue party.
