Jim Gatherum was an American actor active during his teens who appeared as the second boy (Boy #2) who helps retrieve an 'mind vacated' Mork and return him to Mindy in Season 2's Mork's Vacation

Biography[]

Jim Gatherum was born on May 11, 1966 in Riverside County, California, USA.[1]

Career[]

Jimmy's first screen credit came providing voice work on the short movie, Nate the Great Goes Undercover (1978) and the voice of Alfalfa in The Little Rascals' Christmas Special (1979). His first screen credit came with a small role in the TV Movie Like Normal People (1979) after which he appeared in a number of well known TV shows through the 80's.

Mork & Mindy[]

Jimmy appeared as one of the boys, alongside Scott Marshall's Scott, and James Jarnigan, who, after Mork takes a vacation from his body, swapping with a cat alien from the planet Mrowrr, finds Cat Mork stuck up a tree. Along with his friends he explains to her that he hasn't moved in 20 minutes and the poodle that chased him up a tree really must've freaked him out.

Jim Gatherum and James Jarnigan playing the 2 boys alongside Scott Marshall had both been cast in one of ABC's Weekend Specials 'Zack and the Magic Factory' (with Jim as Zack) which aired on ABC-TV the following year.
