Jeff Chambers got his first Directing Credit for the pilot of ABC's picked up, but short lived Out of the Blue (1979), he then moved on to one of Garry Marshall's shows at Paramount, Angie (1979).
He also directed episodes of Good Time Harry (1979), Taxi (1981), Best of the West (1981), Mary Tyler Moore's brief Mary (1986), All is Forgiven (1986), Valerie (1986), Gung Ho (1986) and One Big Family (1987).

Jeff Chambers came in to direct 5 episodes of Mork and Mindy across Seasons 1 to 3, with a sixth credit coming as a contributory director to the anthology episode 'The Way Mork Were'. Notably, Chambers was director of Mork's Mixed Emotions, named one of TV Guides Top 100 Episodes of TV.
