Check In with Orlando
The Hotel located downtown is one of the classic hotels in Frizbat, and is rated far higher by Mork than the new hotels on 'The Strip' (ala Vegas) which Mork invokes the 'evil eye' around. His fondness for the hotel is probably infused by the fact that before his space travel days he was a 'Dinner Diver in the Lobster Tank' in the Hotel, and is on first name terms with Orlando, the Clerk.
The Hotel, as Mork explains to Mindy is an Intergalactic Class Hotel, and the foyer is filled with a large variety of species beyond Orkans. It is served by a Taxi Service that pulls up just inside the foyer, where the Hotel Porter takes their bags. while the bell hops and waiters are robots.
The Hotel has the ability to prepare rooms to serve the needs of any class of Interstellar traveler/species, and will appear as a room from their home world.
Not Quite Earth
Unfortunately, as Mindy is the first Earthling ever to visit Ork, and possibly because the arrangements were made through Orson's office, Mork's instructions about the layout get extremely garbled in regards to the room. The bed apart, almost all the fixtures and fittings (lamps, lockers, tables, rugs) are affixed to the wall, with the wall paper on the floor, and chairs on the ceiling. The bathroom's fixtures are almost as bad, with the toilet stuck on the wall, and there are no locks on the door, meaning Mindy can enter the bathroom after Mork tries to lock himself in there and allowing the second batch of PeeVee Clones access to their room. .
Rose Garden & The Three Moons of Ork
The Hotel backs on to a Rose Garden which serves as a National Monument, and which has actually been created via Mork's sending back cuttings of Roses from Earth over the past three years (plants growing exceptionally fast on Ork). Providing a romantic setting, it is also illegal to pick any of the flowers, Mork doing so for Mindy setting off an alarm that alerts security and sending them scurrying back to their room.
