Mork trying to deal with a 'Exploding' Hibijonee
'A Hibijonee (Hi-bij-onee) is a sentient Orkan animal species, which like's Earth Dogs, appears to have several different breed types, most saliently, the arthropod form, with multifunctional appendages that is a popular pet on Ork.
About Hibijonees[]
Mork and a 'Wingless Hibijonee' (extinct)
The first mention of Hibijonees comes when Mork mistakes a feather duster Cora is using in the Music Store for a 'Wingless Hibijonee' a breed of Hibijonee he believed to be extinct (Mork In Love). A flightless form, like a Dodo, it indicates that there are also winged varieties of Hibijonees.
The second time they are mentioned is when Mork grabs a pair of Pom Poms carried in to Mindy's Apartment by two of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders he's planning to work out with, assuming them to be segments of 'exploding' Hibijonees (Hold That Mork), Grabbing them from the two girls before Mindy can stop him, Mork tosses them out her front window, before sheepishly realizing they didn't explode, and telling Mindy they must've been tired, surmising it's their mating season.
With apparent multiple breed types like dogs, they are, like other Orkan creatures Naugachomps and Conker Frankels, popular pets on Ork.
Physical Features[]

Hibijonees are not mentioned again until the animated show, when we are introduced to Mork's pet Hibijonee, Doing. As per the 'exploding' variety on the show, his body is made up of a series of Pom Pom shapes in a tri-segmented body (Morkel & Hyde). An arthropod with 6 legs and suction cup feet (for climbing), the three-segmented body can separate and act independently. Even when segmented if one part is grabbed or hurt, the head feels it. (Mork Man Vs Ork Man). Their bodies are exceptionally flexible and can squeeze into small spaces.
Hibijonees whip like tail
In addition to a regular canine like head segment, Hibionees have antennas on their head and a tail on it's rear segment. This tail is mutli-functional, hugely extendable and strong it can be used in a rope like capacity, and can be used to eat with. The eye at the end of it can see through it for great distances,
They use their suction cup like feet to climb expertly, often to find places to sleep, as like Orkans they sleep hanging upside down.
Intelligence[]
With Doing as an example, Hibijonees exhibit a high degree of intelligence, and (much like Naugachomps) are capable of communicating with others, especially Mork. Fiercely loyal to their Masters and friends, they are capable of understanding when others are being assertive/manipulative/dangerous towards those they are affectionate to.
