David Wall was an American Actor who 'appeared' twice on the show. Once as Julius a college friend of Mindy's in S1's In Mork We Trust, and latterly as the voice of the murderous Bare Facts strip Club Owner out to get Nelson in S2's Dial 'N' for Nelson.
Biography[]
Career[]
David's only two on screen credits came for his two appearances in Mork & Mindy, both in 1979.
Mork & Mindy[]
David appeared in S1's In Mork We Trust as the timorous, high pitched, Julius, a part of Mindy's college crew invited to a party at her place that an irate Mr. Bickley breaks up, ostensibly due to the noise they're making, but in reality because he hadn't been invited. Julius, in particular, comes in for his annoyance as his falling (on Mork) clattering of ice in his glass, and bodily functions have been particularly irksome to the downstairs curmudgeon. As Bickley drives her party guests away, Mindy prevails upon Julius to stay, but he informs her he has to go. He has an assertiveness class and they'll kill him if he doesn't turn up.
His secondary character in S2's Dial "N" for Nelson, certainly did not lack for assertiveness, as Wall played the voice of the threatening Bare Facts Strip Club Owner out to get Nelson for his anti-pornography stance, going so far as to threaten Mindy & Mork and attack Mindy's apartment. The high pitched sound of his voice led the investigating Mindy and Mork to assume it's a vengeful stripper or that the club is owned by a woman, only to find Wall's voice attached to a burly black man.
