David O'Malley is an award-winning writer, director and producer for motion pictures and television, who served as screenwriter for two episodes of Mork and Mindy across Season 1 & 2.

David graduated from Lakeview High. in Michigan, in 1961, and has been a writer since he was a kid. He attended Michigan State University, where he gained a BA in Film & Television, College of Arts & Letters, Department of Communication Arts. Minors in Journalism & English. [1]
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Karen.
Career[]
David O'Malley has developed projects for Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Tri-Star Pictures, as well as NBC and ABC television networks.
His extensive credits include screenplays for the MGM comedy 'Fatal Instinct' , cult horror classic The Boogens, and the action thriller Edge of Honor as well as network television movies and episodic series. He both wrote and directed the period drama 'Mountain Man', the adventure film 'Kid Colter', the action comedy 'Easy Wheels', and romantic comedy 'Kalamazoo' starring Mayim Bialik.
In addition to an Emmy Award, he is recipient of a Silver Medal from the Atlanta Film Festival, a writing award from the Festival International du Film de L'Internet and was a Feature Finalist at the Sundance Film Festival. [2]

David worked as screenwriter in partnership with Mork & Mindy staff writer April Kelly on Season One's Mork and the Immigrant and Season Two's The Mork Syndrome.
