About[]
On the occasion of her 22nd Birthday, Mindy is keen to spend it with Mork alone, planning to head out to a really nice place with him and, laugh and enjoy themselves. Her plans are initially disrupted by Mork's problems with his emerging emotions, which he locks away, but Mindy unlocks explosively on kissing him, his emotions taking control of him and sending him on a rampage. When he returns, a literal emotional wreck, he is calmer but still in their grip, with individual emotions emerging as their own personalities as the situation contrives. Telling Mindy he doesn't feel like he can celebrate her birthday with her, she presses him to try as spending it with him was what she wants to do most. Agreeing that he's a great guy(!), he says he'll try and keep his emotions from emerging and that evening they go to her chosen really nice place.
Which contrives to be Chez Michel.

Mork escorting Mindy to Chez Michel on her Birthday
Elegant and upmarket, with flock wallpaper and painted walls, decorated with antique furniture and harvest scenes. Jacket and tie dress code ensures a well dressed clientele and with a thriving custom reservations are necessary and overseen by the supercilious Maitre' D', who requires a kick back to make sure your reservation is ensured. Something which Mindy doesn't notice, and Mork fails to understand. When money is not forthcoming, despite her having confirmed her reservation, he denies knowing anything about it, suggesting she celebrate her special occasion at Biffy Burger, until Mork's anger takes a hand, loudly remonstrating with him in front of the customers, and demanding he gets Mindy her table before he staples his lips to his eyebrows.
His disgust manages to get them out of a table by the kitchen and they're finally seated. Their waiter, ostensibly French, makes a recommendation to them, which they happily accept, until Mindy gets a snotty response from him over her request for a thousand island dressing, sending Mork into an emotional spiral, which gets them the dressing, but loses them their waiter. Mindy's noticing of the magnificent lobsters the couple are having at the next table, makes Mork's envy kicks in and he clambers over the table to grab them, before his sympathy for the lobsters takes a hold, Mindy cringing and sliding down in her seat.
Whether they can get in there again, is unknown.
