Casey Storm appeared as one of the kids in Mork's Group under Mrs. Thompson in The Pine Tree Day Care Center, in Season 2's Looney Tunes and Morkie Melodies.

Biography[]

Casey is the son of Howard Storm the 'In House' Director of the show for the first 3 seasons, appearing alongside his brother Casey in the episode. The two boys born 21 months apart.

Casey says he owes his directing style to being around his father on the set of shows like Mork and Mindy and Alf.[1]

Career[]

Casey also made appearances in Once Bitten (1985) Jim Carrey's first movie also directed by his father, and later in an episode of Just the Ten of Us (1988) and in the music video for Weezer's Buddy Holly (1994) amusingly within the 'Marshall' genre as a double for the Fonz. [2]

Like his brother Anthony and his father, Casey has made a career behind the camera, initially as a costume designer. That path occurring after a trip to Reno where he made friends with Spike Jonze who suggested that Casey start styling. His first job ended up being the Beastie Boys’ Sabotage music video, winning him awards. He developed a close relationship with Propaganda Films and his career took off.[1]

His Costume design credits include the films Being John Malkovich (1999); Adaptation (2002); .Zodiac (2007); The Onion Movie (2008); Where the Wild Things Are (2009) and Her (2013). as well as Spike Jonze's mockumentary short Torrance Rises (1999) his music video for Fatboy Slim: Weapon of Choice (the famed Christopher Walken dancing video) (2001); and his short movie We Were Once a Fairytale starring Kanye West , and dramatic short I'm Here (2010). He also did comedy shorts Pol Pot's Birthday (2004); Santasm (2008); Beastie Boys: Fight for Your Right Revisited (2011) Katy Perry: Birthday (2014) as well as music videos for Biggie and Michael Jackson. However, directing continued to be a talent he wished to pursue and so in 2013 he stopped styling and began developing his directing reel with the help of Eric Stern at Anonymous Content. His first directing project was a music video for Maceo Paisley and he’s since gone on to work with brands like Paypal, Apple, Hulu, Expedia, Halo Top and more.[1]
