Bruce M. Fischer (March 20, 1936 - April 11, 2018) was an American Character actor who appeared as The Big Man, a customer in the McConnell's Music Store that Mork tries to make friends with after Mindy suggests he try to make new ones, in Season 1's Mork's Seduction.

Bruce M. Fischer was born born on March 20, 1936 in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. A large man, standing at 6' 3" (1.91 m), and carried the nickname 'Bear.' Married to wife Jane, he remained active in the entertainment industry from 1971 to 2014, passing away in 2018.

Fischer started his career as an Actor in 1971 when was 35 Years old, his first screen appearance coming on the big screen in an uncredited part in the Robert Shaw / Telly Savalas starring A Town Called Hell (1971)[1], going on to appear in numerous movies right up till his retirement in 2014 including:

His first TV screen credit came in a small part in an episode of the long running, Gunsmoke (1975), and through to the early 90s he appeared in many prominent shows, including Gunsmoke, Cannon, Charlie's Angels, Starsky & Hutch, and Conrad Janis's previous show 'Quark'.

Bruce appeared (as Bruce M. Fisher) as The Big Man, a McConnell's Music Store customer who is browsing in the store when he is approached by a massively over eager Mork who is, on the instructions of Mindy, out to expand his circle of friends. Coming on super strong, looking for a friend for life, Mork freaks the guy out, by telling him to 'Bug Off'.
