About[]

YSTMB - 32

The Boulder Bus Station apart from being the transport route for a lot of Mork's trips to Denver and his various jobs features centrally a couple of times Firstly when, Mork is enticed into illegally purchasing a baby on the pretext that the child's parents don't want him. Once Mork has managed to raise the 10,000 dollars needed, given to him by Mindy who, unknown to him has been given it by the FBI, Mork meets Chuck Wilson at the Bus Station to make the swap. Wilson a kidnapper who has taken the child from his parents, desperate to get their son back, is arrested at the Bus Station after Mork leaves with the baby, who he intends to call Mindy. At home later, adult Mindy tries to gently explain to the Orkan, already attached to and wanting to be the baby's father, that he can't keep him...explaining the true history of the baby and his parents. The emotional Mork finally letting him go, saying it's better to have been a father for an hour than never at all. (Yes, Sir That's My Baby)

MATBR 24

The second time the Boulder Bus Station plays a part in his life is when, while trying to help Mindy raise money for the new Children's Hospital. Confused by the concept of charity, and what does and does not constitute it, he falls under the wing of Godfrey, a professional bum, who teaches Mork the tricks of his trade (for a percentage) and takes him down to the Bus Station to ask (beg) for money. Something Mork does to great success, to Mindy's horror when he returns home, dressed as a bum...especially as he's bummed money off of people who know her (and him). Once she puts him straight on the difference between begging and charity (sort of), Mork goes back to the Bus Station and to Godfrey's horror gives all the money away again...though ultimately it inspires Godfrey to his own generosity. (Mork and the Bum Rap.)
