Bebo is Mork's pet Naugachomp, seen throughout season 3 of Mork and Mindy.

About Bebo[]

As part of The Elder's attempts to re-Orkan, Mork, alongside the transformation of Mindy's attic into an 'Orkan Environment', Mork's pet left behind on Ork, his Naugachomp, Bebo is brought to Earth. He lives with Mork and Mindy in a specially created 'cage' in Mork's newly refurbished room,

A sentient, small mound of fur (or polyester, as Mork says in Mork the Prankster), Bebo zips around the floor at a quick pace. He has a certain ability to communicate with Mork, who seems to understand the guttural rumbles he makes, especially during his reports to Orson.

Always referred to as "him," Bebo's gender is actually unknown as Mork informs Mindy that he's unsure whether Bebo is male or female because he never had the nerve to turn him over.

Bebo Chasing Mindy

Bebo seems to take an instant liking to Mindy (Putting the Ork Back in Mork) and he has a tendency to chase her around the place whenever she appears, Mork having to try and head him off.

Mork 'teaching' Bebo tricks

Bebo, like most domesticated pets, responds to basic commands and seems capable of learning (if not actually performing) tricks with Mork (Mork's New Look) and enjoys 'tickle time' with the visiting Xerko (There's A New Mork in Town)

When discussing Naugachomps previously (Mork Runs Away), Mork tells Mindy that they are small green creatures that live in herds that live on hair and fur, and are often used by Orkans for haircuts (albeit somewhat dangerously if a rogue one gets away down your neck. While Bebo is not green, or small enough to get down one's neck, he does still thrive on hair and fur (pictured chasing Mindy's fuzzy slippers) Mork also tells her (Putting the Ork Back in Mork) that Naugachomps grow to be a 100 foot high, so she should enjoy him now. Any of these 'facts' about Naugachomps may be a joke on the part of Mork, though this surge in growth may explain why he's not seen again by the time Season 4 occurs.

Bebo is sometimes seen in Mindy's apartment, but most often he appears next to Mork (and once with Mindy) during reports to Orson.
