Anthony Peck (March 20, 1947 – July 20, 1996) was an American TV and Film actor who appeared as one of the muggers (Mugger #2) who attack Cora on her return to Boulder, and who are treated to a reciprocal form of justice by Mork and Cora in Season 3's Old Muggable Mork.
Biography[]
Anthony Peck was born Carmen Anthony Pecchio; March 20, 1947 – July 20, 1996) in Youngstown, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toledo, and his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Temple University.
He married Francine J Tolstonog (9 May 1982 - 30 July 1996) with whome he had one son, Michael Pecchio, the marriage lasting until he sadly passed away from cancer on July 30, 1996, at age 49.
Career[]
Anthony Peck's first few screen role came in the TV show A Man Called Sloane (1971). His first few parts were done under his real name Carmen Pecchio, before he changed it. His best known role is probably that of Porter Rollins in Days of Our Lives.
On the big screen, after making the acquaintance of John McTiernan while Peck was working as a waiter in between roles he impressed the director with his small role as one of the cops in Die Hard, to the point where he continued to cast him in his subsequent movies, The Hunt for Red October, Last Action Hero, and Die Hard with a Vengeance. He also appeared in the 1993 direct to video movie Bounty Tracker.
Mork & Mindy[]
Anthony Peck played the second of the three Muggers that had previously accosted Cora on her way back to Mindy's Apartment and mugged her. After Mork resolves to help restore the confidence of a depely shaken Cora, he returns with her, in disguise as an old woman, to face them down. Using his powers to 'age' the muggers when they appear, Cora metes out her own kind of justice to Peck's mugger.
