Mork & Mindy[]
Alan appeared as Airman McFarland, who along with buddy Airman Endo, is serving at Buckley's Airforce Base. Freezing and complaining about the food, they are aware that they are being sent out on a mission, all McFarland hoping for is that, where ever they are going, they have a MacDonald's. Their conversation is interrupted by the emergence of Mork in an Airforce Lt.'s uniform. Snapping to attention they try and quiz the Orkan, who they think is Lt. Mork Fromork, on where they are going, but the Orkan thinks the USAF is a holiday club, and spends most of his time trying to get them to relax until the arrival of Captain Chapman.
McFarland and Endo encounter Mork again when he and a Mindy disguised as 'Airman Howard McConnell' sneak into the containment area the Nuclear waste has been stored, that was their mission from the day before. McFarland avoids talking about the 'incident' when Mork tries to bring it up, as part of Mindy's attempts to get information to inform the public. But McFarland is more interested in talking about the girl he's seeing 'Miss Rocky Mountains', finding 'Airman McConnell's' assertion that 'he' prefers intelligent women, dubious, before he and Endo head off.
