Airman Endo is on of the enlisted men Mork meets when he goes to Buckley Airforce Base outside Denver, thinking the USAF is like a variation of Club Med in Season 2's The Mork Syndrome. He is played by Ty Henderson.
About Airman Endo[]
Endo is tall, good looking, African American enlisted man in the USAF, who with his buddies is trying to escape the cold of the onset of a Colorado Winter at Buckley Airforce base, and complaining about the food and coffee on the base and hoping whatever secret location they are being sent to that night has a McDonalds nearby. He is the first one to spot Mork coming out of the latrine, and thanks to the uniform Mork has swiped mistakes him for a USAF Lieutenant.
When Endo and everyone snap to attention. Mork tries to get everyone to relax, thinking there's too much tension for a vacation club. Endo asks if Mork knows where they're going? And the Orkan gives up and asks where? When Endo's pal, Airman McFarland tells Mork that they hate that they're never told anything, Mork tells them he hates it when popcorn gets stuck in your teeth, and the pair start to feel as if this officer needs some R'nR.
However when Captain Chapman enters hey all snap to attention again bar Mork, attracting Chapman's attention. Chapman mistakes him for a Lt. Fromork, and tells them all they'll find out where they're going when they get there, and that it's going to be full of hardship, danger and personal sacrifice, but Mork is heading for scuba, golf and tennis.
When Mindy discovers that Mork has not only gotten involved with the Airforce but has gotten himself involved in a cover up of a Nuclear Spill she engages (after some convincing) Mork to come with her back to the base in disguise to get proof of what's going on, as the public have the right to know of anything that is a risk to their health.
With Mindy disguised as Airman Howard McConnell, in fatigues and moustache, her hair caught up under a cap, she and Mork, back as Lt. Fromork, encounter Endo and McFarland when they make their way to where the nuclear material has been stored. Endo and McFarland approach thinking they are there to relieve them early, but don't recognize 'the guy', looking over Mindy.
Trying to deepen her voice, Mindy introduces herself as 'Airman McConnell', but tells themthey can call her 'Howard'. when they comment on her voice she tells them it was a football injury. Mork tries to get them to talk about 'that thing they're not supposed to know about', but they would rather talk about women, specifically McFarland's, Angela, Miss Rocky Mountains, who he would be with right now if not for this emergency, showing them a photograph of her, forcing Mindy into 'guy' style appreciation of her. When McFarland says he like's his women curvy he asks 'Howard' how 'he' likes his, and Mindy replies intelligent...making them ask how serious was the football injury. Mork says not to worry about McConnell, he has everything a woman wants, and slaps her on the back making her stagger forward as Endo and McFarland head off, Mork celebrating Mindy fooling them by patting her ass repeatedly telling her 'it' s man stuff'.
