The House at 1619, Pine Street is one of a number of properties in Boulder, Colorado owned by Landlord Al Klevins who like the DaVinci siblings is originally from the Bronx, in New York.

About[]

1619, Pine Street was built in 1883. Nothing is known about the history of the house prior to Mindy's taking up the upstairs apartment. But evidently it would have served as a single family home for a good portion of its time. Judging by the amount and age of detritus and left items in the attics, which pre-date Mindy's arrival, which includes clothes and children's toys it is likely have stayed as a single home probably up until around the early 1970s, when it was redeveloped as twin apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first.

Nearby schools include Whittier Elementary School; Casey Middle School; and Boulder High School (the latter of which is Mindy's confirmed alma mater).

1619 Pine Street is the now landmarked 'McAllister House', an 1883 Queen Anne era house and a real, privately owned home in the neighborhood as reported above.

It was also used as an exterior for some episodes of Perfect Strangers a few later, but is largely and best known as Mindy's / Mork & Mindy's Home, and one of Boulder's most prominent tourist attractions for that reason even decades later.

Visitors are welcomed to take shots of the exterior, but not to set foot on the property itself. All interiors were shot on Paramount Studios lot.

The real property has 13 rooms including, 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and approximately 3,818 sqft of floor space, and has a basement and detached garage.

In 1974, some 4 years before the start of the show it sold for, $80,000.

In 2020, its property value was assessed at $2,182,700
